DoWhile2021, hosted by Rocketseat, is a virtual gathering of brilliant minds with a shared purpose: shaping the future of programming. In a virtual environment, participants from all over the world have the chance to connect, learn and grow through a range of activities, from talks and panels to hands-on workshops, all without leaving home.

Create a visual identity that captured the essence of the event: connection, construction and the future. The brand needed to be modern and appealing, and to convey the feeling that something big was being built, piece by piece.

Inspired by the idea of construction and connection, I chose hexagonal visual elements that shape and adapt, symbolizing the continuous construction of the future of technology. These ever-evolving hexagons form the basis of the event’s visual identity. The warm color palette was chosen to convey a welcoming, modern and energetic feeling. The result is a design that is visually striking and also evokes movement, progress and innovation. The visual identity was also adapted to a range of digital and physical materials, ensuring a cohesive, immersive experience for every participant.
